What To Wear In Czech Republic
To sum it up - Smart, casual
- Prague is the most popular destination in the Czech Republic. This beautiful and picturesque city has many sights to walk around, this is a destination to take a very comfortable pair of walking shoes.
- Avoid taking high heels at all, as most streets are cobbled.
- Whatever the time of year you are travelling the weather can be unpredictable so layers and a lightweight raincoat will ensure you are always dry and comfortable.
- Jeans and T-shirts are also popular.
- If you are planning a visit to one of the opera houses or theatres, you will feel more comfortable in smart casual dress. For men a jacket and tie is not essential, but certainly wouldn't be out of place.
- The churches are spectacular and often have concerts open to the public but do bear in mind that you need to dress modestly.
- The colder months November - March can be absolutely freezing so pack a warm coat, scarf, hat, gloves & ear muffs.
