Think of this list as a guide for creating your perfect capsule wardrobe you will undoubtedly already have some key pieces of your own and remember to only choose pieces you feel gorgeous in:
Travel in:
Flattering pair of jeans with belt
Casual top and a lightweight smart cardigan
Pair of comfy flats
A light-weight, belted raincoat
A large canvas bag with a small travel wallet that can double as an evening bag
Clever layering is the way to get around changeable weather conditions
And Pack:
1 pair of trousers
1 dress or skirt, something you can wear sightseeing, but also dress up to dine out in the evenings.
3 casual tops a shirt in your favourite colour would tie in well here, as would a cashmere or light wool for cooler weather.
1 Fleece if a fleece is not your style do go for a trendy jumper/jacket that you can roll up and pack with ease.
1 pair of killer heels or sparkly sandals for evening.
Swimwear if the hotel has a pool.
Sunglasses in one of this seasons fashion styles.
Costume Jewellery never underestimate how a statement piece can transform an outfit.
Pashmina -may be old hat in the fashion world but they are essential for travelling - take a colourful wrap on to the plane to keep you warm, then wear it in the evenings or to cover shoulders if you are travelling to countries where this is a cultural expectation.
