This is a great quiz website that tests your knowledge whilst giving something back to others less fortunate. You can swot up on various subjects (we like trying the languages for a bit of holiday patter) and for each correct answer you give, 10 grains of rice will be donated via the World Food Programme to help end hunger.
Pack for a Purpose
Do you like to give something back to the less-well-off communities you visit? Do you know what they really need and will most appreciate? Taking unneeded items, even with the best of intentions, is largely inappropriate for some communities and will have few benefits for them. The Pack for a Purpose project aims to help by showing up-to-date lists of the items currently required by communities all over the world, enabling travellers to make informed decisions on what to take.
